VISIT TO THE BARRANCO PERDIDO

We have never told you so far about the Barranco Perdido, so we think it’s about time. It is a thematic place about paleo adventure located in the town of Enciso, declared a Biosphere Reserve by Unesco.

It is a place of great interest for the little ones and also for adults, where we find a climbing wall, adventure circuits or swimming pools among many other activities that will allow us to spend a very pleasant day.

Let’s go into a little more detail about the different activities to be performed:

– Multi-adventure park: here we will find Tibetan bridges, zip lines, walkways, archery, bridges and other structures where children will have a great time. Due to the type of activity, it is restricted to children over 140 centimeters tall, but the little ones must be accompanied by an adult.
– Paleontological circuit: in this part of the park is where we find a series of more educational workshops that will allow us to delve into the life of dinosaurs. Through the hill of fossils and the laboratory of time we will discover the fossil footprints of animals, we will perform a scientific analysis in the laboratory, etc.
– Cretaceous beach: this is an outdoor recreational area ideal for enjoying the pools, geysers and pools, ideal for these hot days. On the other hand, there is also a dry area with a climbing wall and a space to play the paleontologist’s puzzle.
– Guided tours of the Valdecevillo de Enciso site: an exhibition on dinosaurs and the Cretaceous world in La Rioja. You must take into account that to get to the site you will have to take the car as it is about 1.5 kms away.
