WHAT TO DO IN LOGROÑO

La Rioja offers a wide range of activities to do and today we are going to focus on Logroño, of vital importance in La Rioja as the capital and dynamic center of the province. From Haro we will reach Logroño in just 45 minutes by car, making it a highly recommended destination to visit.

We are going to detail some of the most charming places in Logroño so that you have it easier to prepare the trip.

We can say that Portales street is the most representative of the city, in it we can take a pleasant walk where we will find a multitude of stores, bars and restaurants. It is a street full of life that we can not miss.

Yes, we like to go out and enjoy the local gastronomy and for this reason the locals of Laurel Street make it very easy for us. The tapas and wines that we are going to taste in their premises will make us live moments of great pleasure. The small sandwiches of all kinds, tapas of potato omelette, sirloin steak, mushrooms, or peppers among others will make us forget everything and have a fantastic time with our partner, family or friends.

From a more cultural point of view we can not miss the Church of Santiago el Real, in the old town of Logroño. On the other hand, the Revellín Wall is worth a visit as it was the protection of Logroño in times of wars and conflicts. It is a pleasant and free visit.

The church of San Bartolomé and Santa María de Palacio are small charming churches located in the old part of the city. In addition, the first is the oldest church in Logroño. And a few meters away we will find the Co-cathedral of Santa María de la Redonda, next to Portales street and built on a Romanesque temple.

Other places of interest are the Parque del Ebro, Puente de Piedra, Plaza de Santiago or Paseo del Espolón.

As you can see we would need a lot of literature to explain in detail everything we can do in Logroño. We promise that in future articles we will go into more detail.
